Who am I?

I am JP, the owner and author of ARIC. ARIC is the acronym for A Retail Investor’s Composition. It captures my thoughts, mental models, and analysis of stocks and investing.

I have been doing this for almost 10 years, and by still having passion of doing something after approaching the 10-year mark, it is inherent I would have most likely found my ikigai.

My thoughts, arguments and points have found their way on the internet. I manage a website - mykayaplus.com, which I still try to keep as active as possible.

I have also had the opportunity to contribute to some of the more well-known investing websites and forums:

Why the name ARIC?

I know I will be practising investing for the rest of my live. However I am still uncertain about how my career will take a turn.

Will I remain a retail investor for all my life? Will I become a fund manager of a fund or family office?

All I know, regardless of what I become or remain, it would all have started and blossomed on my current approach and improvements. Thus, ARIC will be the site where I capture my thought process and analysis, as I seek to build something different from Kaya Plus.

I stylized the “a” in ARIC as alpha, where it is the goal and mission of every investor.
